Sunday, September 27 – Erev Yom Kippur

  • 06:40 am – Selichot
  • 06:50 am – Shacharit
  • 02:30 pm – Mincha
  • There will be no later minyan for mincha
  • 06:13 pm – Candle lighting
  • For those unable to light at home, candles will be available at the Shul. We are not permitted to light candles after 6:31 pm
  • 06:15 pm – Kol Nidre
  • 06:31 pm – Yom Kippur begins

Monday, September 28 – Yom Kippur Day

  • 08:00 am – Shacharit
  • 09:36 am – Latest time for Kriat Shema
  • 10:15 am – Yizkor (no earlier than)

Candle Lighting and preparation for the 2nd Day no earlier than 7:37pm. Yom Tov candles must be lit from an existing flame. Remember to place a new fruit (one that has not been eaten in the past year) on the table before Kiddush for the blessing of Shehechiyanu. Remember to include Havdalah in Kiddush, as can be found in the Rosh Hashanah Machzor.

Sunday, September 20 – 2nd Day Rosh HaShana

  • 09:33 am – Latest time for Kriat Shema
  • 01:00 pm – Second Shofar Blowing (30 blasts only) in the Main Parking lot.
