Ma’ot Chitin is the annual Passover fund that helps our less fortunate brethren celebrate Passover with joy and respect. To perform this Tzedaka that has been practiced by Jewish communities around the world for centuries, please donate online or write a check out to Congregation Beth Israel, and write “Ma’ot Chitin” in the memo line.

Every $50 pledge is another opportunity to acquire your own Megillah Scroll (appraised at $1000 retail value). If this campaign raises $1800, the proceeds of which will go towards paying for the construction costs of Malden’s new mikvah, Congregation Beth Israel of Malden will randomly select a donor to win the megillah on Motzei Shabbat, Shabbat HaGadol, April 12th, 2014.
