Malden’s Eruv is under the hashgacha of Rav Moshe Heinneman of the Star-K in Baltimore, and under the auspices of the Greater Boston Eruv Corporation. It is supervised by Rabbi Rabinowitz, and is checked weekly by a team of local volunteers. Built in 2004, it enclosed an area of approximately one square mile.
In late 2014, the Eruv was expanded westward to the Fellsway and southward to Medford Street, nearly doubling the number of houses within its borders.
In 2024, the Eruv was expanded to the northwest of Malden into eastern Medford.
We are grateful to Mayor Christenson and his staff in the City of Malden and Mayor McGlynn and his staff in the City of Medford for their support in our Eruv expansion.
