Monday, March 2 – Fast of Esther/Purim Night

  • 05:06 am – Fast begins
  • If you will be eating baked food over which we make the blessing of ‘Borei Minei Mezonot” you must begin eating prior to 30 minutes before the fast begins.
  • 06:40 am – Shacharit
  • 05:10 pm – Mincha
  • 06:05 pm – Ma’ariv
  • 06:18 pm – Fast Ends
  • Please refrain from eating until after the Megillah reading.
  • 06:25 pm – Megillah Reading
  • Remember to repeat kriat shema after 06:26 pm

Tuesday, March 3 – Purim Day

  • Everyone is invited for a brunch at the Rabbi’s home, 265 Fellsway East, from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon
  • All pledges and online donations for matanot la’evyonim must be received by the Rabbi no later than 10:00 am
  • 10:15 am – 2nd Megillah Reading
  • 03:40 pm – 3rd Megillah Reading
  • 04:40 pm – Mincha
  • There will not be a minyan for ma’ariv earlier than 7:00 pm
  • 05:00 pm – Purim Se’udah
  • 07:00 pm – Ma’ariv

The timeframe to say Kiddush Levana is through Tuesday, March 3, at 8:29 PM. We only say Kiddush Levana at night.
