Friday, April 19 Erev Pesach
- 06:40 am – Shacharit, followed by Siyum Bechorim
- 09:30 am -11:15 am – Chametz burning at Beth Israel
- 10:04 am – Latest time for eating chametz
- 11:24 am – Latest time for burning chametz
- Please note: the two preceding times are different from the Halacha Guide. The times in the Guide are according to the Vilna Gaon. These are according to the Magen Avraham. Lechatchila we should follow the times of the Magen Avraham in this situation. Bevi’avad, the Vilna Gaon’s times are okay.
- 04:07 pm – Latest time for eating permissible matzah products
Friday, April 19 – 1st Seder
- 07:10 pm – Mincha
- 07:12 pm – Candle lighting
- 07:50 pm – Ma’ariv
- 08:21 pm – Earliest time to begin Seder
- 12:43 am – Latest time to eat the afikomen
Saturday, April 20 – 1st Day Passover
- 08:45 am – Shacharit
- 09:19 am – Latest time for Kriat Shema
- Eat Seudah Shlishit at home
- 04:08 pm – Finish eating matzah or matzah products
- 07:10 pm – Mincha
- 07:50 pm – Ma’ariv
- 08:22 pm – Earliest Candlelighting
- Light from an existing flame. No preparations for the second Seder should be made before 8:22 p.m.
- Remember to insert Havdalah into Kiddush as is found in the Passover Hagadah.
- 12:43 am – Latest time to eat the afikomen
Sunday, April 21 – 2nd Day Passover
- 08:45 am – Shacharit
- 09:18 am – Latest time for Kriat Shema
- 07:10 pm – Mincha
- 08:10 pm – Ma’ariv
- 08:23 pm – Yom Tov ends
Monday – Wednesday, April 22 – 24 Chol Hamoed
