Friday night Oneg Shabbat – “The Opium of the People – Get High on Life”
Shabbat Luncheon, Beth Israel Glaser Auditorium – ” Gadlus HaAdam – Awaken the Giant Within”
Melave Malka, Beth Israel Glaser Auditorium – Part 1 (for children, parents welcome) – “The Story of Berel and SHmerel in White Hupitzville”. Part 2 (for adults, babysitting available) – “Mission Possible- Making the Most of Everyday Inspirations”. Rabbi Hill uses anecdotes from his father’s life story (Steven Hill of Mission: Impossible and Law & Order), and other human-interest tales, to demonstrate how to identify and capitalize on the inspirations that come up daily.
Cost (by January 18):
Shabbaton: $5 (kids 3-12), $10 adults, $36 family max
Melave Malka: for kids 7:00pm with ice cream sundae refreshments, followed by an adult talk, will include free babysitting; $10 (kids 3-12), $15 adults, $40 family max
